Closing of the Tadafuq: Palestinian Artists in Motion Exhibition

Motasem Siam is a contemporary Palestinian artist, graduated in Fine Arts from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2020. His work focuses on multimedia installations combining video, performance, objects and sound. He explores themes such as childhood, dreams, memories and identity, using prefabricated sequences, film and digital media. Through the contraposition of images and messages, he creates dialogues between different rhythms and meanings. Her work focuses on the challenges and struggles faced by young Palestinian exiles in the context of occupation, intertwining themes of displacement, diaspora and identity.

As part of their residencies in Madrid, artists Lara Salous and Motasem Siam presented their portfolios to the Research Center of Museo Reina Sofía.
During this gathering, hosted by Nave Oporto, artists Lara Salous and Motasem Siam presented their work to the group of researchers and engaged in a dialogue about their artistic practice as part of the Tejidos Conjuntivos Pro-seminar.
