Casa Árabe is a Spanish public diplomacy institution that acts as a strategic hub for relations between Spain and the Arab world. It serves as a meeting point where various actors and institutions — both private and public — from the fields of education, academia, culture, politics, and business come together to engage in dialogue, interact, establish cooperation frameworks, and launch joint projects.
Since its founding in 2006, Casa Árabe has worked to build bridges, fostering cultural and educational relations, as well as promoting training and understanding about the Arab and Muslim worlds.
Casa Árabe’s Cultural Program serves as a key platform for cooperation with institutions, creators, and cultural industry professionals from the Arab world, establishing itself as a dynamic and essential tool for cultural diplomacy and dialogue with the most innovative sectors of these societies.
Casa Árabe has two locations, one in Madrid and one in Córdoba. It is part of the Network of Casas of Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEUEC), alongside Casa de América, Casa Asia, Casa África, Casa Mediterráneo, and Centro Sefarad-Israel. It also belongs to networks such as ReFAL (Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation), Medinea, and EuroMeSCo.
