Jiser

Jiser, which means “bridge” in Arabic, is a non-profit association based in Barcelona whose aim is to promote artistic creation and the use of art as a tool for social transformation in the Mediterranean context. Through the development of joint activities, Jiser fosters exchange and connection between different cultural and social realities, encouraging intercultural dialogue at the local level.

Its objectives include generating artistic creation projects through spaces for shared reflection among cultural and social actors; developing initiatives that stimulate and support the conception, production, visibility, and dissemination of artists and their works in the region; and supporting independent cultural spaces in identifying long-term sustainability strategies, strengthening their interaction with existing international networks.
